After the coating is applied, keep pets and people off the surface for at least 24 hours. For heavier items like grills, hot tubs, or large couches, wait 48 hours before returning them to the deck. This waiting period ensures that the coating cures properly and is not subjected to premature wear or damage. Rain rarely affects coatings; however, special cases might require touch-ups.
